Rating: I’m so glad I picked this up. The Garmin Nuvi 270 is perfectly sized, just about the size of a card or so, making it not a distracting object in the car. I know that the navi has both North American and European maps but I pretty much just use it for North America, having Europe maps is a plus should you ever go there. It pretty much makes travel and business easier, thanks to the featuring points of interest option which lists basically places of interest that any traveler would need.

Rating: The Nuvi 270 GPS unit is exactly what you’d expect from a GPS unit - it worked perfectly. I was extremely pleased to know that it has pretty much every big street and pretty much even the smaller ones in Europe. As anyone who has been around Europe, they’ll find that some places can be quite confusing to navigate around, thankfully the Nuvi270 automotive assistant dispels all of those problems completely.

Rating: This isn’t the first navi I used, but from my experience I found the Garmin Nuvi 270 to be much more superior in terms of pure navigation and path finding. Coupled with a beautiful UI it seemed to be much easy on the easy and quite easy to go through the menus and all. I haven’t had problems at all with any wrong turns or anything and I don’t think it will happen anytime soon either.

The Nuvi 200 is a basic navigator that operates only in the USA. It lacks the higher coverage that the Nuvi 270 provides, which is a transatlantic model covering both Europe and North American. Both models feature a set of travel tools, such as a calculator, converters, world clock, and much more, essential for the traveller.
